Molly Reinhard, MS | Interim Director, Pre-Professional Advising
Molly Reinhard currently serves as interim director of the Center for Pre-Law Advising and the Center for Pre-Health Advising. She has worked in student services at UW – Madison for 11 years, with a focus on supporting educational equity, student retention, and career/academic exploration. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from UW – Madison and an M.S. in Cultural Foundations of Education & Community Engagement from UW – Milwaukee, along with training in counseling skills and restorative justice facilitation.
Dija Selimi, PhD | Advisor and Lead for Curriculum and Data Management
Before joining pre-health 8 years ago, Dija worked with students for 10 years through classroom teaching, mentoring in the laboratory and advising both graduate and undergraduate students. She earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology studying non-chemical management of fungal pathogens (plants get sick too!), and did post-docs on bacterial biofilm formation and sweet protein synthesis.
Beth Currier, MA | Advisor and Lead for Communications
Beth has worked with undergraduate students on the UW-Madison campus for seven years—three and a half as a teaching assistant and three and a half as a pre-health advisor. Beth is a PhD student in Classics and Ancient Near Eastern Studies. She received a BA in English Literature and Writing from Bethel University and an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Mike Hill, PhD | Advisor and Lead for First Year Initiatives
Mike joined CPHA after working as a historian and college instructor. He earned his PhD in 2013 studying the relationship between climate and medicine in colonial America. In addition to helping Badgers achieve their career and life goals, Mike loves to play jazz and visit his favorite city, London.
Alexis Steinbach, MS | Advisor and Lead for Diversity Program Partnerships
Alexis has been working in higher education for three years. She started her career at the University of Missouri-Columbia as a graduate assistant in New Student Programs. Most recently, Alexis was an advisor in the College of Engineering at UW. She earned a B.S. degree in Consumer Affairs and an M.S. degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison. As an undergraduate student she competed on the Badgers Women’s Volleyball and Track and Field teams. Alexis looks forward to working with a diverse population of pre-health students and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. In addition to her passion for college student success and advocacy, Alexis enjoys coaching volleyball, cheering on the Badgers, and exploring new activities.
