Alumni Advising
As a UW-Madison alum, you have access to all the advising services the Center for Pre-Health Advising offers for as long as you need them!
Whether you are progressing on a path you planned as an undergraduate or shifting to a field you discovered late in college or after graduating, we are eager to work with you as you continue to take steps toward a health profession. It is not uncommon for people to decide on a health profession after gaining experience in another field.
Explore online resources, schedule an appointment, or email us. Our questions inbox is always open: questions@prehealth.wisc.edu. Advisor monitor our inbox M-F during CST business hours and respond to questions within 24-48 hours!

One-on-one Appointments
In lieu of access to Starfish, UW-Madison’s campus scheduling system, we invite alumni to fill out our Alumni Appointment Request Form to set up an appointment with a CPHA advisor. Our operations team will be in touch to get you scheduled!
Drop-in Advising
Have a quick pre-health question? Sign up for drop-in advising (in-person or virtually) to meet with an advisor Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00p.m. – 3:30p.m.

Pre-Health Canvas Courses
Enroll in a free, self-paced “Applying to Programs” Canvas course! If your wisc.edu email has been deactivated, please use your NetID.
If healthcare is a new interest, begin by signing up for Pre-Health 101, our free, online orientation.
Access to Other Resources After Graduation
Access to CPHA will never go away, but some things will change after you graduate.
- Your @wisc.edu email will be deactivated after 6 months.
- You will lose access to your Google drive, Box, Qualtrics, and Zoom accounts.
- You will not lose access to Canvas, so be sure to enroll in our application courses.

We are always looking for alumni to connect with current pre-health undergraduate students. If you are open to being a resource for someone pursuing the path you are on, we would be grateful to get your permanent email to share with current pre-health undergraduates. We will always check with you before sharing your information.
