When it comes to applying to a health professions program, jobs matter! Whether you are cleaning dorms, washing dishes, working for your parent’s business or landscaping in the summer, jobs show that you are reliable and can work with others.
Working in a health care setting shows that you have worked in a health care team and have had responsibility for the care of patients. To discuss specific service requirements for a health profession, meet with a Pre-Health Advisor at CPHA.
Working in home health care settings requires additional precautions to ensure your safety! See OSHA’s Home Healthcare page for more on how to protect yourself with doing in-home care.
